I was a high school English and Drama teacher for over ten years.

During this time, I had the privilege of teaching in South Africa and New Zealand, getting to know different curriculums and cultures, which taught me so much about life and people.

I also worked in the corporate world for over 10 years, never quite finding the place or career where I was “meant to be”. I tried everything from administrator to salesperson to marketing, and the list goes on. Finally, I stepped out on a limb and find myself at peace where I am now as a writer, content creator and personal development coach.

After spending 32 years trying to navigate this life on my own, I finally found Jesus (for real) in 2016. You see, I had always believed in God, that He existed and I prayed for stuff all the time. But really I didn’t know Him and I never worshipped or read my Bible. I treated God more like a convenience store than my Lord and Saviour.

But, at last, in 2016, I joined a church and got baptized (full emersion in water and the Holy Spirit) just like Jesus did. Since then, I can’t say that life has been perfect, far from. We still face challenges and struggles all the time, but the journey through the difficulties and the outcomes are far more tolerable and manageable with Jesus by our side.

I am so grateful for my faith, if it wasn’t for God, I wouldn’t be here today.
Now as a mom of two busy boys, I have decided that the best course of action as a devoted Christian, is to homeschool my children and work from home. Jesus has given me this amazing opportunity to focus on my passions – family, homeschooling my boys, and writing. I can’t wait to share all the best parts of my journey with you!
